For both begins a year full of unforgettable experiences, joys, pure excitemen.

The entrance of the Courts of Honour in the City Council scored the central moment of the act. It was first the turn of the Fallera Main Childish, Ariadna: “Valencian village, falleros and falleras, in virtue of the attributions that confers me the laws and to proposal of the Central Joint Fallera, I appoint and proclaim in my name and in the name of the City Fallera Main Childish of Valency to the girl Ariadna Galán  García.

Emotion without limits in the sweet face  of the girl . Moments afterwards was the turn ofª M Pilar:“Valencian village, falleros and falleras, in virtue of the attributions that confers me the laws and to proposal of the Central Joint Fallera, I appoint and proclaim in my name and in the name of the City Fallera Mayor  of Valencia to Mrs. Pilar Giménez Santamarina”.

Arrived the turn of the speeches, the first,  the Major´s speech. She congratulated  the new falleras and remembered  of the responsibility that comports to represent the enthusiasm, the whishes  and the feelings of the more of 120.000 falleros that maintain alive the Falla´s party. Relatives and friends of  Mª Pilar and Ariadna and Ariadna were living  these incredible moments, so often dreamed.

And it  came the culminating moment of the act, the Anthem of Valencia and the Anthem of Spain. Later, a party was celebrated in the Crystal Hall, where they  presented to  our new queens two “alfabeguers” created by the craftsman Xavier Claur. A fantastic evening that Ciberfallas lived, as  always, in the first plane.

On 4th, 5th, 10th and 11th of this month, one of the most keenly anticipated events will be taking place; the International Music Band Competition, which has been held for over 120 years. A total of 27 bands, 23 of which are competing and the other four appearing as guest acts, will be performing at the Opera House and Bullring.

From 2nd until 25th July, you have the chance to see live performances by Fangoria, La Excepción, Chambao, Bumbury, Joan Manel Serrat, Miguel Bosé & The Cabriolets, Amaral, Anastacia, Yan Tiersen and James Taylor. But there’s even more: following the success of last year, on 18th July, the biggest night of the Fair, known as the Gran Nit de Juliol, will be bringing you a wide variety of cultural acts and entertainment, whilst the city’s museums and art galleries will remain open from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. with free entry.

Furthermore, on 11th July, the second Ballroom Dancing Competition will be taking place in the Plaza de la Virgen square, and on the last Sunday of the month, the traditional flower show, known as the ‘Batalla de Flores’ (literally flower battle) will fill the Paseo de la Alameda boulevard with light and colour. In July… don’t even think about leaving Valencia!

The golfer Sergio García, motorcycling champion Jorge Martínez “Aspar”, actresses Iris Lezcano Juan and Carmen (Alqueria Blanca), Nacho Mano composer and humorist Peter Reyes presented the draft this morning animation NINOTS THE GREAT ADVENTURE The first animated film that has as protagonists the Ninots de Falla. All of them bring their voices to the characters in this film that will cost 5 million euros and which employs about 350 people.

Garcia and Aspar, for those who have created characters as (a golfer and the owner of a mini-circuit) agree that their passion the idea from the start. “Interestingly, I have dedicated Ninots and even a few of them were pardoned,” said the champion of motorcycling.

The project, born from the collaboration of producer and JC Trivisión FILMS, is headed by Manuel J. Garcia, who has worked for Disney and Universal Studios factory, while the design of the characters is provided by the cartoonist and comic writer, Alfonso Azpiri.

Ximo Perez, NINOTS’ executive producer, has assured that this is a film with a valenciana sales and international distribution, and have already initiated contacts with some TVs. Those responsible for the idea with this project intended to help the image of Valencia is associated with notions of modernity and new technologies. Thus, the city of Valencia is the perfect place to locate a plot full of adventure, intrigue and humor.

NINOTS is a film for all ages that aims to be a national landmark in animation. Its premiere is scheduled for 2011.
