CONCERTS and STREET PARTIES
The Fallas Concerts are financed by the City Council and are organized with the collaboration of two national radio stations. They are free of charge (by invitation only) and they take place on dates during the Fallas week. Performances are mainly by national artists and singers. The venue may vary so it is a good idea to consult the programme each year.
As Valencia is a land of music, it is logical that the Fallas Committees organize a large number of street parties, known as VERBENAS in each neighbourhood, where locals meet to dance and have a good time.
At these Fallas verbenas, everyone who wants to join in is given a warm welcome, so they are rcommendable for visitors, who are sure to find a friendly, laid-back atmosphere.
