I could not have found a lot of information about this tradition, probably due to my short Englishman and anything of Norwegian.
It seems to be that there is celebrated in the summer solstice Sankt Hans (23-24 of juny) in Alesund, Norway.
His height can manage to reach 37 meters of height.
