New Delhi, July 15 .- At least six people died and several were wounded today as a result of an explosion at a fireworks factory in eastern Pakistan, reported the private channel “Geo.”
The explosion happened in the eastern city of Muridke in Punjab province, causing the number of injuries mentioned, who were taken to nearby hospitals for medical care, according to reports from the private TV channel DAWN NEWS.
Five people who worked on fireworks shows for Independence Day died in explosions, including four in a single explosion that rocked this remote town in the islands of the Outer Banks.
The fifth died after an explosion at a fireworks show in Pennsylvania, police said.
