The Mining engineers’ Official College of The Levant will deliver the prize to the best mascletà of the Fallas 2009

Moments before the Show of the Artist Fallero, the company RICASA will receive the maximum award of the edition II of this contest .

 

The evening of next Thursday, the 30th of April, at 20 hours, before the beginning of the Show of the Artist Fallero 2009, it will take place in the Chamber of the Town hall of Valencia, the delivery of the maximum award of the Contest II Mascletaes’s organized by the Mining engineers’ Official College of The Levant

The Pyrotechnics RICASA (Ricardo Caballer), who shot on March 19, will receive the prize provided with 3.000 Euros accompanied by a mining lamp, symbol typical of this group, which credits him as the best mascletà of the Fallas of 2009. The second prize has been for the mascletà shot by Europlá on March 15.

The Falleras Mayores of Valencia will take part in the delivery of the mentioned distinction, the councilman Félix Crespo, Marta Agustín and Maria Berbel, and the Dean in the Comunitat Valenciana, The Mining engineers’ Official College of The Levant, Manuel Illescas.

The prize was announced after there be obtaining the average, last March 24, of all the votings emitted by the members of the juror that voted of telematic form. The two mascletaes winning, obtained a total punctuation of 9,01 (Ricardo Caballer) and 8,49 (Europlá) on 10.

In this edition the pyrotechnics were not taking part that she turned out to be a winner of last year, the Pyrotechnics Caballer. The juror was integrated by 38 members corresponding to the pyrotechnic sector and others related to the pyrotechnics or the fallas, mass media, Mining engineers’ Official College of The Levant and fond public.

Every shot was valued individually according to the criteria of innovation, originality, general quality of the shot, pace and sonority of the set of the mascletà and air accompaniment, final phase terrestrial (earthquake), final air phase, general acceptance of the public and time of duration.
